John Williams Luther Williams

WILLIAMS — John Luther, 84; born July 5, 1931, Kingston, Jamaica; died Oct. 28, 2015, Corona, Calif. Surviving: wife, Marylyn Joan (Young); sons, Roger, Murrieta, Calif.; Jim, Riverside, Calif.; daughters, Joni Hollie, Lake Oswego, Ore.; Sandy Silvestri, Corona; sister, Grace Kemp, Austin, Texas; 7 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 16 nieces and nephews, and 8 great-grandchildren. 

John moved to United States from Jamaica as a teenager with his parents Emsley and Beatrice Williams and his brothers and sisters. He attended Lynwood Academy, then La Sierra College where he met and married his wife of 64 years, Marylyn Joan Young. John and Marylyn are members of the Arlington Church in Riverside, Calif. John was a successful businessman in the Medical sales industry. He was also a scholar and writer and his greatest passion was to share his love for Jesus Christ. 

John was preceded in death by his father, Emsley Williams; mother, Beatrice Williams; brothers, Winston Williams, Roy Williams and Calvin Williams; and sister, Ruth Van Douris. 

John leaves behind a great circle of friends whom he treasured. He will be greatly missed by all.
