Weekend-Long Bible Study Held by Sandy Church

By Veronica Crockett, Marzo 18, 2014

The Sandy (Ore.) Church was truly blessed and encouraged by a weekend full of Bible study and praise with Bill Liversedge. Folks from several Oregon and Washington churches filled the fellowship area and, during Sabbath meetings, the sanctuary. The main focus was the amazing gift we have been given, that because of Christ's atoning sacrifice God looks past us and our variable track record to see Jesus in our place. While He changes us daily, giving us the actions, thoughts and motives of Jesus (through the power of His Spirit and His Word), we can rejoice that when we stumble we are still covered with Jesus' righteousness. The attendees were guided as they studied each topic from the Scriptures. We certainly have so much for which to praise God, and this weekend was a wonderful reminder.
