41st NPUC Regional Convocation

The 41st North Pacific Union Conference (NPUC) Regional Convocation was held May 18–21, 2017, at Black Diamond Camps in Auburn, Wash. This year’s theme, "Living Reconciled to God, Family, Church and the World," was bolstered by powerful presentations from a number of guest speakers: Clifford Jones, Lake Region Conference president; Virgil Childs, Pacific Union Conference African American ministries director; Timothy Golden, Walla Walla University philosophy professor; Kim Bulgin, minister of music at Glenville Church in Cleveland, Ohio; Patrick Graham, Allegheny East Conference youth director; and musical guests Wayne Bucknor and Andrew Young.

The Gleaner is a gathering place with news and inspiration for Seventh-day Adventist members and friends throughout the northwestern United States. It is an important communication channel for the North Pacific Union Conference — the regional church support headquarters for Adventist ministry throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. The original printed Gleaner was first published in 1906, and has since expanded to a full magazine with a monthly circulation of more than 40,000. Through its extended online and social media presence, the Gleaner also provides valuable content and connections for interested individuals around the world.
