Bette Alice Reed

REED — Bette Alice (Buell), 84; born Oct. 13, 1929, Wilder, Idaho; died March 4, 2014, Ontario, Ore. Surviving: sons, Gordie Jr. and Jeffery, both of Ontario; daughter, Pamela Drake, Nampa, Idaho; brothers, Kent Buell, of Oregon; Dwane Buell; Dexter Buell; Kenny Buell; Bill Buell; sister, Demptha Bingman, of Washington; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Bette Alice (Buell) Reed was born Oct. 13, 1929 in Wilder, Idaho, and died peacefully at home on March 4, 2014. Bette led out in the Adventist Community Service program for many years in the Payette and New Plymouth, Idaho, areas.

Bette was next to the oldest of 11 children. She and Gordon Reed met at Gem State Academy and married Oct. 7, 1949, in Winnemucca, Nev., and again later at Gem State Academy Church on Dec. 7, 1950.
