William Everett McFarlane

MCFARLANE — William Everett, 91; born Jan. 9, 1928, Glendale, California; died Aug. 22, 2019, Oregon City, Oregon. Surviving: daughters, Pam Laue, Estacada, Oregon; Donna Stephan, Oregon City; 3 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Williams was a missionary to Hong Kong in 1969 and started the dental work for the Adventist Church there. Transferred to Guam in 1972 and was there for eight years (interrupted by some time in the states). Also served in Monument Valley. Ended his dental career in a true mission field: the California state prison system. William retired in College Place, Washington and when his health declined, moved to Gladstone, Oregon to be closer to their daughters.
