Surviving: wife, Patricia (Chase); son, James T., Angwin, Calif.; daughters, Cheryl Nelson, Bellingham, Wash.; Diana Cefalo, Tracy, Calif.; Becky Asbury, Abington, Va.; brother, Ron Ball, Turnersville, N.J.; sister, Vicki Weiss, Tonawanda, N.Y.; and 7 grandchildren.

Jim Ball lived in Brookings, Ore., with wife, Pat, but died in hospital in Crescent City, Calif.
