Surviving: wife, Malinda (Schrenk); sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Linda (Thorgersen) Crisp, Bozeman, Mont.; Norman and Cherie (Sparks) Crisp, Oakland, Ore.; daughters, Nancy Crisp Worley, Roseburg, Ore.; RuthAnn (Yarbrough) Crisp, Sutherlin; 4 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.

John and his wife, Malinda, had celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in April of 2017.

Predeceased by son-in-law, George Worley, and son, Wayne Crisp.
