Ilda Mae Hoffman

HOFFMAN — Ilda Mae, 89; born Feb. 5, 1926, Edgily, N.D.; died Nov. 14, 2015, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Surviving: brothers, Darrell Hoffman, Coeur d'Alene; Marlyn Hoffman, John Day, Ore.; nephews, Robert Hoffman, Pendleton, Ore.; John A. Hoffman, Mt. Vernon, Wash.; stepnephews, Robert Hamblen, Post Falls, Idaho; Ernest Hamblen, Newman Lake, Wash.; and grand-nephew, John Hoffman Jr.

Ilda graduated form Walla Walla College in 1950 with a degree in secretarial science. She became a teacher in 1952 and taught at the Coeur d'Alene High School. Ilda was an active member of the Coeur d'Alene Seventh-day Adventist Church. She held many offices in the North Idaho Retired Educators Association.
