Surviving: sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Shirley Middlestetter, Springfield, Ore.; Doug and Pam Middlestetter, Silverton, Ore.; daughter and son-in-law, Larry and Laura Tomanka, Scappoose, Ore.; brothers, Duane Melling, Post Falls, Idaho; Dean Melling, Rhonert Park, Calif.; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, William "Bill" Forrest, and her brother, Kermit Melling.
