Willard Wayne Miller

MILLER — Willard Wayne, 95; born July 12, 1919, Ellendale, N.D.; died March 21, 2015, Roseburg, Ore. Surviving: wife of 32 years, Jean (Burkhardt) Miller. 

Preceded in death by his son, Mack.

Willard was a veteran of the U.S. Military. He received the Croiz de Guerre medal from France signed by Charles de Gaulle. After the war he became a teacher and taught in North Dakota, Oregon and California. Upon his retirement he worked for an additional 10 years for the Christian Record Services for the Blind. He will be remembered as a reserved and sincere person.
